Acceptance of Terms

LinguaChats.ai is operated by Xotic Tech OÜ, Estonia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the website or API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

LinguaChats.ai provides an OpenAI-compatible API for specialized AI writing models. Each model is a curated system prompt running on an open-source base model (such as Llama 3.3 70B, Gemma 4 26B or Llama 3.1 8B). AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate; you are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on or publish it.

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person may not maintain more than one account
• New accounts are activated within 24 hours

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys secret
• You are responsible for all activity, including API usage, under your account and keys
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or keys

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Generate content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts
• Share, resell or publish your API keys without our permission
• Interfere with or overload the service

Credits and Payments

Credits

• API usage is metered in credits; each model's credit price is published in our documentation
• New accounts receive free starter credits on activation
• Credits never expire, have no cash value and are non-transferable
• We may change credit pricing with 30 days' notice

Credit packs

• Credits are sold as one-time prepaid packs. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
• Payments are processed by Polar.sh, which acts as merchant of record and handles card data, invoices and taxes under its own buyer terms

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled through Polar.sh in line with its buyer terms. To request one, contact support@linguachats.ai. If an order is refunded, the credits from that order are removed from your balance.

Intellectual Property

The LinguaChats.ai service, website and model personas are owned by Xotic Tech OÜ. The underlying open-source base models remain subject to their own licenses.

You keep ownership of your prompts and the output generated for you. You grant us only the rights needed to process your requests and provide the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service or its output will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Xotic Tech OÜ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if your use harms the service, us, or others. You can close your account at any time by emailing support@linguachats.ai.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or on the website. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
